The third Memory is a French screamo band. They play real hyper/chaotic screamo , but it's nothing like Spirit of Versailles though. They have the same structure as them though.Playing chaotic riffs to calming build-ups that flow into the next song.I don't have that much else to say about them...

Why?Eskimo Snow!
This is probably the least hip-hop produced piece of work Why has done ever.It was recorded around the same time as Alopecia , yet very different in a wild way. When I first heard this album about 2-3 weeks ago , I was very amused by it.I love Why , but holy shit , this set new standards. Now it's something I can't stop listening to.It also gives off a very weird feeling of the season , and the lyrics are very abstracted in a way of being more imaginative than any other.

Brian Chippendale has said in many interviews that when he plays drums he wants to fill in every tiny little space that is not being played in a song. Now it sounds ridiculous , but if your playing their personal style of music , I think it would only sound good the way they do it , especially with so many people who would like to copy Brian Gibsons style of Bass and Chippendale's drums. They are both extremely unique guys who make something out of NOTHING.Much props Lightning Bolt.

Wonderful Rainbow is one of their best and most popular records by Lightning Bolt. It's realllllyyyy heavy , but super catchy! This album is contained in the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die, describing the band as the most vicious drum n' bass band ever.Muse actually covered track #3, 'Dracula Mountain.'Pretty crazy to know that , but I think the whole world can't get enough of Lightning Bolt. This is one of my favorite bands of all time and this is who actually got me into the genre of 'Noise/experimental.'

Their next release was a breakthrough in the genre of noise and they started to get noticed a lot more.Ride the Skies is truly amazing. It starts out with 'Forcefield,' a song named after a Fort Thunder music collective.
'Scandinavian free jazz power trio The Thing recorded a cover of track #4, "Ride the Sky." The cover is on their 2006 CD Action Jazz, released on the Norwegian label Smalltown Superjazzz.' --Taken from Wiki
If anyone has seen their DVD, 'The Power of Salad and Milkshakes,' you can hear at a point where one of the guys from Pink & Brown is talking to someone over the phone saying how the bassist of lightning bolt freaked out the crowd at a show/bbq because he thought his pants were chafing him when he was tripping on acid.I think that's pretty fucking sweet if you ask me, figures where they come up with the randomness of things all the time.

Lightning Bolt's Self-Titled was released in 1997 , and it was re-released with 2 other songs on the track list in 1999 on Load Records. The 2 songs are titled 'Zone' and 'And Beyond'.When the first release of this record came out , you could buy the 50-minute "companion cassette" entitled Zone, which was available for three dollars via direct mail order. The original vinyl was pressed to make only 750.

Re-up on Repo
Their most recent release , which is their 5th studio album , 'Repo' has set new standards for noise for me.This record almost beats 'Beaches and Canyons' , which was their first studio release.Listen to track 2 'Glazin' and track 5 'La Cucaracha', those are my 2 favorite songs off of this album.Don't get me wrong , the whole album played is amazing , but those 2 in particular for how he mixed the tracks and also inverted some of his sounds.I'm not going to review to much because I am trying to work on getting more info for my blog to make it a bit more sociable. You will be seeing alot of random news clips , local news , and releases and reviews for video game consoles.I also forgot to mention books..if anyone WANTS to write a review about a book that has inspired or motivated you please e-mail it to me at rkomosinski@edison.edu

Little Big Planet 2 already in the works at Media Molecule
It's been announced for sometime that they have been in the works of LBP2.A friend of mine recently started giving me his subscription to Game Informer because he has no idea why it's being sent to his house so I have been taking advantage of 'toilet-time' as of lately.Other than that , I have been waiting to own some more people in the DLC for socom:confrontation for the PS3.It's been said they will have DLC(downloadable content) for socom out by the end of this year so if you play socom just cross your fingers...

Now I am a big socom fan , but that doesn't mean I won't try Modern Warfare 2.I used to have Modern Warfare , but it's just run and shoot....boring!

22 Days '09 Demo on Communique
This 10" isn't what I thought it was going to be like.Simple one string riffs to melodies that sound like a twelve-year old made this up is probably the best way I can put it.The vocals are horrible , and after he screams he also just sings his lyrics. It's almost as worse as the singer of Every Time I Die.I made a horrible choice on purchasing this record.I will update later with a picture of the album , but my girlfriend has the camera at the time so..go figure.

The Sandman:King of Dreams
So far I have 5 out of 10 volumes of Vertigo's Sandman.Very deep, dark, and ellaborate story.I could go on for hours about The Sandman , but I will leave it up for the reader to expand on this if they would like , but I am not going to hold everyone else back..comiccover.jpg)

Neil Gaiman truly is an amazing writer , and produces out-of-this-world work in his comic novels. This is better than the little 'Watchmen' phase everyone got into for a little while, and much more worth it to read and get into. You can really get a lot out of what you read in Gaimans stories , especially since HE is relating himself as the Sandman.;)

Evil & Heavy
Iron Age has been a mysterious band to me over the past year.I have listened to some of their songs off of 'Constant Struggle' LP(Earlier release), but still haven't gotten enough energy to go buy the fucking record.Well this is the long and behold 'The Way Is Narrow' 7" that they finally came out with after hundreds of alternating versions of 'Burden of Empire' 7".This 7" consists of a cover by a flower travellin band that is amazing and have a fucking EVIL TWIST to it that reminds me of early Black Sabbath(NO JOKE).The other song called,'The Way is Narrow' absolutely amazing 80's THRASH influenced with pissed hardcore.Remember 80's thrash always having a solo in their songs?Yeah...think that being brainwashed by Lucifer Morningstar and you have Iron Age.

Back to my normal life.
I will be doing my daily routine of posts again for the time being. If no one reads this, it's good for my advantage then hahah. There's so much music flowing around now, that I forgot the roots of what I really like to jam to.I got into this band thinking I'm just going to turn it off after their discography was over , but I just kept repeating it..and repeating..
It's crazy, they we're only together for 2-3 years and they came out with a decent amount of music. The drums are real precise and clear in sound as the bass follows the guitar in rhythm to the strangest-most-simple riffs. The singers voice is amazing.High yells, but still in tune with the melody and he starts singing. The singer sounds like a nice guy, but once the mic is in his hand he sounds pissed. The drums fill in with a bass line and the song is over.Very simple and jammy.Their start/stop timing is perfect for the 90's raw emo style they play.I wish I could see them at their reunion shows in June , but I just lost my job at Downtown House Of Pizza due to the manager working me as a slave at $4/hourly and the other manager that would try and sucker me into going to his 'meetings' which is total pile of shit because he's a Joho. Why the fuck would you want to live your live through an image than life itself..doing anything you please , whatever you feel like doing , putting a set of standards and rules on yourself to follow a quo that just slaughters our minds and eats at it isn't why I work.I hate the strength that people have over you at a job and it makes them feel that you should do/follow whatever they do.LET ME BE MY FUCKING SELF WITHOUT CRITICIZING ME THAT I WON'T PLAY ANYONE IN A BASKETBALL GAME FOR MY CAR....FUCK OFF &...PLEASE DIE.
Tonight I will post more shit for sure , but for now I need to get back to my PS3.

AGATA POO
With half second split guitar cords mixing over dead space to fill in for a change is what got me to find interest in Agata. This pointless composition of music is the only mind-altering opinion I have on Noise. There is so much bad 'Noise' out there to make the world shit on the Brown note from South Park.Lightning Bolt, for instance a band that made a change in the music industry at heart. Brian Gibson thought of putting a BANJO string on his bass guitar for his high A.(which contrasts with the typical tuning of a Bass.)He even remarkably thought up to use Standard Cello tuning which is just the most fucking badass thing I've ever heard to do for a rock duo noise group. He has made a contraption just for Lightning Bolt that no one can ever use except for him.Brian Chippendale on the other hand fills in every space of air with any beat he can possibly think up.From off-tune disorienting beats to popping the snare drum as fast as possible and knowing when to change a changeless beat for the fuck of it, and sticking with it...YOU HAVE LIGHTNING BOLT!!Ichirou Agata has alot of time on his hands...good , but no good. It's like saying gone , but not forgotten , but it's definently forgotten later on.

WHOA
What a fucking nightmare I was living for awhile.I haven't been posting lately because of something that I got myself caught up in and ended.I just got out of detox from Roxy's and Oxycodone and it was the shittiest thing that has been self-inflicted.Lately , I've been listening to alot of shit that has been kept away in my closet and , but one band that I found that has always caught my attention with their dark-power driven thrashy screamo and disorienting chords is Stop It!! I was lucky enough to see them a long time ago at Rising Tide Records off of Del Prado.I hate bringing up that place without a fucking huge story of how much an influence it was to my life , but I'm going to save that for next post , I'm running on nothing right now and need to get my life back in order...I'm just really glad I pulled myself out of what I got myself into.I'm lucky to be alive. And I'm thankful for everything that I have to support me and keep me off that horrible shit.Anyways , I just downloaded the new Friday The 13th that came out this year.Waiting for Missie to get off work so we can watch it together , anyone reading this..please understand that I have went through some crazy shit lately and need to get back to writing because it has been the only thing in the detox center that kept me alive and breathing at night. It's simple to write down what's on my mind because so much shit has happened lately , but it's sometimes literally impossible to write how my heart feels right now and I've totally changed as a human being.
